In 2018, we were given the opportunity to prove that we are capable of building one of the largest Rent-a-Car brands in Romania.
Under the APAN Motors umbrella, Drive2U was our largest and most complex project at the time. The management was pursuing clear, well-defined objectives with the aim of scaling the company nationwide, in the shortest possible time, through quality services that bring high customer satisfaction.

As we reached our goals and scaled the company to all major cities in Romania, the initial goal was achieved, and we were about to learn the most important lesson, the hard way. The goal we believed in was not everyone's goal, and the moment occupancy reached 80% and customer feedback was at its all-time high, we were told that this is where our journey stops, as cost optimization is desired.
For many years, as of February 14, 2020, we considered this experience as a defeat, and wanted to forget about it. But it wasn't long ago that we realized this end of collaboration was actually the beginning of our success.
Shortly after the end of our contract, a significant amount of the original team members left, but the brand is still on the market today.
If you're curious enough to check out our social media networks you'll be able to see some of our actions from 2019 - 14.02.2020. Unfortunately, the website and mobile app are no longer the original ones, as they are probably following a different business model now.
That being said, we wish them continuing success, and are grateful for the opportunity we had to demonstrate our business capabilities and efficiency.
Thanks to them we have developed our own fully automated car rental software, which has the ability to generate electronic contracts and complete rental protocols, dynamic pricing, fleet management, invoicing, integration with car rental brokers and many other functionalities needed to manage any car rental company, regardless of its complexity.
Although we have already invested over 20,000 hours of programming time in this software, we will not stop developing it. We are pleased to follow the success and efficiency of the platform through its use by other large customers in Romania, such as ExpediCAR and Meridian Rent-a-Car.
